About DoveTales

Writing for Peace’s DoveTales print journals has introduced young writers to work from activist writers and artists since our inception in 2011. In August of 2019, DoveTales went online, making the journal more accessible to our global audience.  Now, DoveTales is published twice yearly: the Winter Edition on February 1st and the Summer Edition on August 1st (which features the winners of our annual Young Writers Contest).

At the end of each year, the work is collectively published in our DoveTales print anthology and made available for purchase through Writing for Peace Books. It remains our goal to put our print journals in the hands of every one of our young readers and writers.
