The Golden Key
Behind Closed Bars
Pen and Ink
My artwork reflects the everyday restrictions that many people face, and as a teenager, I know that societal expectations can hinder people from acting on their own terms. Whether it is society’s intense diet culture, parental pressure to succeed, or feeling like one is not good enough, I show through my art that when social constructs and norms try to knock us down, we must always resist.
