Stop Killing Us

Ink and Watercolor

Janet Biehl is an author, translator, and editor as well as an artist. At her home in Burlington, Vermont, she paints in watercolor and uses India ink with a bamboo pen for drawing. She tries to use art for political expression, reflecting her sorrow and anger at injustice, and her admiration for those who resist it. She is thrilled by the emergence of the strong Back Lives Matter movement and hopes it will lead to real change.
