Stan Sanvel Rubin was co-founding director (with Judith Kitchen) of the Rainier Writing Workshop low-residency MFA at Pacific Lutheran University. His poems have appeared widely in US journals such as Poetry Northwest, Agni, The Georgia Review, and most recently, Tar River Poetry, Hole in the Head Review, 2 River, Into the Void, and Sextant Review. He’s published four full-length collections, including There. Here. (Lost Horse Press) and Hidden Sequel (Barrow Street Book Prize). He lives in Port Townsend on the north Olympic Peninsula and writes essay reviews of poetry for Water-Stone Review out of Hamline University in St. Paul, MN.
