Free Saturday Teen Library Workshops – Summer 2012

If you want to be a writer, you must do two things above all others: read a lot and write a lot.”

~Stephen King, On Writing

When Stephen was a teen, he spent his summer vacation hiding in the root cellar with a candle stub, a tin of sardines (glassy eyes reflecting the wavering light), and a turkey vulture quill pen. Okay, we made that whole thing up, but the point is he didn’t stop writing and refining his craft just because the sun was shining!

Writing for Peace is offering a series of free writing workshops in Colorado Front Range libraries that will help you continue to hone your skills this summer. Register for one or more of the free workshops here, and then check out our first annual creative writing day camp at Sylvan Dale Ranch!
